Hadn't seen it before and it was fun.
It was all the more intriguing for being about a famous novelist and how his "number one fan" felt about his past books and his newest manuscript. Kind of shows what can happen when an end user gets caught up in one's creation a little too much. Though it turns out that the Kathy Bates character was a serial killer, anyway.
Still, it always brings up the fascinating dichotomy of how anyone in the creative endeavors --- or even in any job -- wants their work to be appreciated; and yet, there's a line out there that one doesn't what those who enjoy their product to cross. I have had that happen to me in a small way, with my fanfic, and one such occasion was recently. All of a sudden, it's not much fun -- and rather disconcerting -- to be admired.
