Like the story "Vacation", I leave tomorrow morning while only vaguely knowing where I'm going.
I leave first thing Sunday morning. Should cover some 1600 miles through Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri before meeting up with a friend and her husband in Davenport, IA around noon Tuesday. After those first few days, anything goes.
Beyond the first day of driving, I'm mainly looking forward to getting away from the stark dryness of the west, and traveling on secondary roads through lusher, greener regions.
