I don't need a holiday to prompt me to feel appreciative that I'm a part of All That Is. But it's still nice to list out some particularly wonderful things.
That there's people out there who still read the "Adventure" series, and sometimes I hear from someone who says they've recently discovered it, and have/are reading the whole thing.
That I'm still writing the "Adventure" series. I never expected, in the earlier stories, that I'd still be writing about Starsky and Hutch's lives in 1988.
Scrivener software. Such a fantastic writer's tool. So many features that help writers write the way they want to write. Can't wait for the newest Windows version to become available in the coming weeks.
That I'm open to inspiration. Life is so much more fun and easy when I act upon things that suddenly seem like the obvious next step, rather than trying to "make" things happen because I intellectually feel that I should.
That my three dogs are all healthy and fun-loving and adjusted to routines.
That I have incredible health. I love movement. Walking. Riding my bike. And I love relaxing when I want to relax. The vast majority of the time, I can fall asleep within five minutes. If I don't fall asleep that quickly, it's usually because I'm excited about something.
That I love who I am.
That I have more peace and less stress than anyone I know.
That I am the freest person I know.
That I know life is one big massive kitchen, with every possible ingredient available, and it's up to me to pick and choose what ingredients I want to use to create whatever I want. And knowing it's equally important to allow everyone else the freedom to create whatever they want, so I'm free from worrying about what everyone else is up to.
That I have absolutely no fear of death, which makes one all the more eager for life.
That fans still read my old stories.
That PMG and DS still like and love each other, and they let us see that.
That simhorseracing.com exists. It has allowed me the satisfaction of single-handedly running a massive international horse racing empire, and is still just as ecstatically fun as when I started playing ten years ago.
That I have clients who have been with me the twenty years I've been in business.
That technology has gotten so efficient and convenient, that I make a full time income while often working just a few hours a day.
That this will likely be a year of record income.
On Demand from my cable company, so I can watch a whole plethora of things whenever I feel like it.
The cloud. For making hard drive crashes no longer The End of the World.
Youtube. Where one can watch anything about anything.
Breeders Cup 2018. For being so much darn fun to watch and bet.
Jockey Victor Espinoza. For allowing me to feel intense compassion for someone who is going through a rough time, and all the more joyous that he is finding his pockets of joy and sharing them with everyone else.
That I have friends I've known as long as thirty-five years.
That squabbling family members made up, even if just "sort of".
For Abraham-Hicks and all those seminars that no matter what particular subject one listens to amongst thousands of available youtube vids, their advice often brings laughter and always a smile.
