Ov-er. The. Moon!

So thrilling to see our 4yo filly Amandrea win super easy in Houston yesterday.

Amandrea Alone in Front

She had won two races early in her career and placed in a stakes. The MyRacehorse syndicate bought into her last October, and her two races since then were very disappointing. She'd be right there with the leaders for most of the race, and then just be totally out of gas in the final furlong or so and finish poorly.

Trainer sent her from Kentucky to Texas for softer competition. Despite those recent poor finishes, Amandrea went off as the heavy, heavy favorite since she'd been racing against better. It was so thrilling to see her go right to the lead and toy with the opposition, and then pull away in the upper stretch and just canter home like she was out for a Wednesday afternoon stroll.

In any kind of competitive endeavor, losing is such a status quo that the wins are so savored and thrilling.
