Power Up Paynter is on some well deserved R&R.
With racing currently halted in New York, and Aqueduct serving as a human hospital, trainer Linda Rice thought it was great opportunity to give Power Up Paynter some time off. I own in 13 horses -- most of which are in training and haven't started -- and 3yo PUP has been the reliable workhorse, starting six times, with a win, two seconds, a third, and two fourths since September The expectation is that he'll be fresh for the prestigious Saratoga meet in late summer.
