... who likes to be organized. The app Notion has been a great find.
I'm having so much fun organizing everything I need for easy access in my life. What I really love about Notion is how fast it is to get to everything. From the above, I can click once and choose my Reading List:
I have one table as a general list, and a second for Isaac Asimov, as I'm gradually going through the latter's serial novels. From that table, I can click on, say, The Naked Sun, and get the chapter-by-chapter synopsis I wrote while reading it:
Every line of a table, or other type of database in Notion, automatically has its own page. One can do databases within databases, if they wanted.
So, with just two clicks, I can go from my home page, which summarizes my entire current life, and get to something as specific as a chapter synopsis for a particular book. I love that ease of use, once I've had the enjoyment of creating the layout.
Likewise, I have a table just for my dogs, and I can see at a glance (one click from the home page) when each has its next vaccination due. I can then attach, right in the table, a link to each dog's most recent vaccination certificate. No more searching my hard drive to figure out where I stored them when the groomer asks for an updated certificate.
Notion can even do simple math in a table, and a table can be viewed as a gallery etc. (The latter a very pretty effect for the seven racehorses I currently own microshares in.)
Notion has been the coolest thing, and such a useful and fun replacement for so many other apps. I've loved learning to use it effectively while work is slow this month.
Notion can even supposedly work as a blog, but I'm not ready to experiment with that yet. When I do, and I like it, I might use it to replace this Wix one.
