A chestnut colt was foaled in Virginia. Three years later, he would be a positive symbol for an American society full of distrust, due to the Watergate hearings. In one week in 1973, he was the cover boy for Time, Newsweek, and Sports Illustrated.

For me, he became my symbol for all things good and wonderful.
